Tomographic reconstructions of the coronal electron density.

CONTENTS OF THIS REPOSITORY:

The six data files provided in this repository correspond to the 3D tomographic reconstructions presented in the Solar Physics article titled "Tomography of the Solar Corona with the Metis Coronagraph II: Three-Dimensional Reconstructions of the Electron Density and Comparison with Reconstructions Based on LASCO-C2."

Each file contains the electron density reconstructed by SRT using either Metis or C2 data for the three periods analyzed in the article, referred to as Segment-1, Segment-2, and Segment-3. In total, six reconstructions are provided. The reconstructed electron density is presented as a 3D data cube defined on a uniform spherical grid, as outlined in the accompanying IDL code, which facilitates the loading of the cubes into memory. The included IDL script contains comments that explain how to read the data into memory.
