Simulation Dataset for Evaluating CBC Caching Strategy in NDN using ndnSIM 2.9
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains simulation results for evaluating the performance of a caching strategy (CBC) in Named Data Networking (NDN) using ndnSIM 2.9. The experiments were conducted on Ubuntu 20.04 with an Intel Core i5-9400F CPU and 8 GB RAM. Two network scenarios were considered: a 5×5 Grid Topology with 25 nodes and the Abilene Network Topology with 11 interconnected nodes. Traffic was generated using a Zipf-Mandelbrot distribution (α = 0.7–1.2) to reflect realistic content request patterns. Network conditions include bandwidth of 10 Mbps (Grid) and 10–100 Mbps (Abilene), with propagation delays between 5–20 ms. Content Store (CS) capacities range from 10–50 objects in the Grid and 100–500 objects in Abilene. Each experiment was repeated 10 times with different random seeds to ensure reliability, and results are reported with a 95% confidence interval. The CBC strategy is compared against baseline caching policies (FIFO, LRU) and advanced methods (PFR, LRFU).
