The dataset characterizes soil salinity in the southwest coastal region of Bangladesh. A total of 187 topsoil samples were collected in April 2025. All samples were processed following standard operating procedures for the determination of soil electrical conductivity (EC) using a soil–water ratio of 1:5, as recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Electrical conductivity was measured using the HI-6321 Advanced Conductivity Benchtop Meter, ensuring high precision and reliability in salinity estimation.
