To explore the mechanisms of the increased IgA concentration in the small intestine of mice after anthocyanins treatment, we performed RNAseq transcriptome analysis. Mice were intragastrically administered with 50 mg per kg body weight bilberry extract for 4 or 10 days, then sacrificed to collect tissues. The control group was intragastrically administered with equivalent sterile double distilled water. After quantified by TBS380, paired-end RNA-Seq sequencing library was sequenced with the Illumina HiSeq X Ten. Our results show that pathways involved in both immunoglobulin production and response to bacterium were obviously affected by anthocyanin treatment.
