NRS-182 | Papers concerning New Zealand imports and exports of fruit

These papers comprise pamphlets on the New Zealand Department of Agriculture; copies of Acts nos. 24-26, 1933 relating to sales tax and customs tariff; reports on apple and pear exports for the seasons 1929, 1936 and 1938; and, copies of regulations relating to the export of fruit from New Zealand, August 1932, and to the importation of fruit or plants in 1918. A report on internal marketing from March 1945 to March 1946, a statement of accounts for April to September 1945, papers relating to the grading of fruit 1936, extracts of regulations and schedules from the New Zealand Orchard and Garden Diseases Act 1908, and papers concerned with the New Zealand Embargo 1932-33, are also included. The main file which is in the folder concerns New Zealand citrus exports 1931-46 being mainly correspondence between the New South Wales Department of Agriculture and various authorities concerned with the exportation of citrus fruits to New Zealand.
