Sixteen mice at the age of 8 weeks were randomly assigned into two groups. Mice in the control group (CONT) were fed a basal diet, while mice in the experimental group (CLOB) were orally gavaged with 108 CFU clostridium butyricum daily for 14 days. All mice were sacrificed for sample collection on day 15. Ileum samples were immediately collected for transcriptome sequencing.
