Marinomonas sp. UCMA3892 has been isolated from Livarot cheese. The objective of the present study was to explore the genetic potential and phylogenetic characteristics of this microorganism in cheese ecosystem. Marinomonas sp. UCMA3892 whole genome was sequenced to explore genetic potential regarding safety, technological and nutritional attributes.
