COMPARATIVE METAGENOMIC ANALYSIS OF CORE GUT MICROBIOME IN WHITE LEG SHRIMP (PENAEUS VANNAMEI) CULTIVATED IN LOW-SALINE AND SALINE FARMLAND

The shrimp gut microbiota was studied from low-saline and saline environments in summer crops.Targeting the V3-V9 region of the 16S rRNA gene and using QIIME 2 to predict microbial function achieved.The operational taxonomic unit (OTU) was defined at 97% sequence identity.Proteobacteria (84-93%) was the most abundant species in each group, followed by other groups.These findings provided novel intestinal microbe microecology data and strengthened our understanding of stage-specific communities in the shrimp gut.
