To examine the influence of the early stress of maternal separation on the hippocampal transcriptome in young adulthood

In this study, we examined the consequences of the early stress (ES) of maternal separation on hippocampal gene expression in young adulthood. Young adult (2 months old) ES animals exhibit hippocampal transcriptome changes with a significant regulation of genes associated with intracellular signaling, MAP kinase signaling, plasma membrane function, neurotransmitter and neuropeptide receptors and cytoskeletal components.本研究探讨了母婴分离所致早期应激（early stress, ES）对青年成年期海马基因表达的影响。结果显示，2月龄的青年成年早期应激动物的海马转录组发生显著改变，与细胞内信号传导、丝裂原活化蛋白激酶（MAP kinase）信号通路、质膜功能、神经递质与神经肽受体及细胞骨架组分相关的基因均受到显著调控。
