Comparative transcriptomic profiling of Candida auris RCA1 and EFG1 null mutants in comparison to the Wild-Type Strain Overall design: RNA Sequencing was conducted on clinical isolates of Candida auris, including the wild-type (WT) strains and deletion mutants in RCA1 or EFG1. The cells were cultivated to the exponential phase in YPD at 37°C with agitation at 200rpm. Subsequently, cultures were harvested, and RNA isolation was performed, followed by the preparation of sequencing libraries for three biological replicates. Specifically, for the rca1? mutant, sequencing was conducted on two distinct clinical strains labeled as R1 and R2. For the efg1? mutant, sequencing analysis was performed on the R1 strain.
