Welfare Monitoring Survey Round II, 2024

Household living conditions in Sudan continue to shift rapidly, underscoring the need for agile monitoring. To address this, the World Bank conducted the second round of its welfare survey between October and November 2024, in parallel with the first round. This phase focused on four key areas: education, employment, health, and access to water and electricity. The survey is based on a probability sample of 1,340 adult respondents across 13 states, excluding the five Darfur states due to unstable network coverage during data collection.
