DNA repair and metabolic genes show universal splice site constraint across three animal phyla while aging pathway profiles are phylum-specific

This archive contains all data, analysis scripts, and result files necessary to reproduce the main findings of the manuscript. Using the Evo2 genomic foundation model (7B parameters), we generated 11,008-dimensional splice site embeddings for 30 aging-related and DNA repair genes across three animal phyla (Nematoda: 21 species, Mammalia: 21 species, Insecta: 30 species primary + 71 species expanded). Mantel tests with 9,999 permutations were used to assess phylogenetic signal in embedding space.
