A Deductive Inference Model for Acoustic Source Identification Using One-third Octave Band Monitoring

This research sought to develop and apply a deductive method for acoustic source classification using one-third octave band analysis to quantify and attribute sleep-disruptive sound exposures by source during ICU care, supporting the integration of clinically interpretable environmental monitoring into routine patient care dashboards.
