The purpose of this survey was to evaluate three reading stimulation projects aimed at children from the age 2 to 6. The projects were three of “Troll i ord”s subprojects that intended to stimulate love of reading among children that had not begun formal reading education. The target groups were 2-year-olds, children in kindergarten and first graders and the reading stimulation should take place primarily by the help of the child's parents and by reading aloud. The evaluation survey is directed primarily towards the parents (questionnaire). Because “Troll i ord” also is a signal project, the evaluation survey also included other informants that had been involved in carrying out the subprojects (interview). Data from the evaluation survey showed generally a positive effect of the reading stimulation.
