Indian Crop Phenome Database
收藏资源简介:
The Indian Crop Phenome Database (ICPD), a domain of the Indian Biological Data Centre (IBDC) at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, India, is developed for the sustainable archiving, management, and sharing of diverse crop phenome data generated across India. As a global agricultural powerhouse, India generates a significant portion of biological data, primarily from agricultural trials. However, much of this valuable data remains inaccessible, unpublished, and lost over time. ICPD addresses this gap by providing a user-friendly, centralized platform for freely archiving, organizing, analyzing, and sharing multi-crop phenome data in compliance with Minimum Information About a Plant Phenotyping Experiment (MIAPPE) and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable) principles. Each dataset is assigned a unique, persistent IBDC accession. ICPD supports open and managed access submission modes. The database operates under a structured licensing framework (CC BY-NC-SA), ensuring proper attribution while encouraging ethical and non-commercial use of data.
