Occurences of submerged aquatic vegetation in Puck Lagoon and adjectent water between 2007-2024.

This dataset comprises observations of submerged aquatic vegetation within the Puck Lagoon and along the coastal zone between Gdynia and Gdańsk, collected from 2011 to the present. Data were gathered during the vegetative season to ensure optimal visibility of underwater vegetation, enabling identification based solely on visual inspection. Observations were conducted using a combination of a single-beam echosounder and a drop camera deployed from a small vessel capable of operating in shallow waters (as shallow as 1 meter). At each observation point, the presence of all major submerged aquatic vegetation types was recorded.

The dataset is structured according to the Darwin Core standard, ensuring interoperability and facilitating integration with other biodiversity data systems.
