The goal is to assess the impact of host serum on the larvae of Toxocara canis miRNA in vitro. Larvae were cultured in RPMI 1640 medium without serum or with 5% serum prepared from helminth free mice for three days. Small RNA sequencing libraries were constructed using a TruSeq Small RNA Sample Prep Kit, following the manufacturer instructions. A single end sequencing was performed on the Hiseq 2500 system. A total of 8 miRNAs libraries were prepared.
