A heavy metal and xenobiotic-tolerant strain of Acidovorax temperans strain LMJ, was isolated from a contaminated Tris-Acetate-Phosphate medium plate of a green micro-alga, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii strain Chlamydomonas Library Project LMJ.SG0182. The complete genome of this bacterium was sequenced using PacBio continuous long read technology on a Sequel II machine at the Georgia Genomics and Bioinformatics core located at the University of Georgia (Athens, GA, USA). The complete genome consisted of three contigs. The complete genome has been submitted to the GenBank (GenBank accession number GCA_028596105.1).
