Study: The Ohia mouse model of hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) harboring Sap130 and Pcdha9 mutations exhibits microcephaly, cortical neurogenesis defects, and neurobehavioral deficits. Transcriptome profiling, DNA methylation, and Sap130 ChIPseq analyses demonstrate epigenetic dysregulation of genes associated with autism and cognitive impairment.
