Functional genomics study of oral squamous cell carcinoma under PPARG overexpression by RNA-seq

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), one of the most common malignant tumor in head and neck, which is regulated by cellular factors. Among them, peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPARG) has been reported to have main functions in the regulation of several human cancer cells, including OSCC. However, its regulatory mechanism remains unclear. Here, we performed a functional genomics study of PPARG overexpressing OSCC by using RNA-seq. Overall design: SCC-15 cells transfected with PB-IP-PPARG were the experimental group, and SCC-15 cells transfected with PB-IP-2flag were used as controls. Experiments were performed in duplicate. Gene expression profiling analyses by high throughput sequencing were performed on mRNA samples isolated from the SCC-15 cells transfected with PB-IP-PPARG(P) and SCC-15 cells transfected with PB-IP-2flag (CK).
