VivianGrom/Sensitivity1: v1.0 - Initial Release
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains code and data for a comprehensive sensitivity analysis of detrital zircon provenance interpretations. Traditional provenance studies often assume uniform erosion rates and homogeneous zircon fertility, which can introduce significant uncertainty. We systematically explore how variations in erosion rate, zircon grain size, and zircon fertility influence detrital zircon U-Pb age distributions using a 1-D simulation framework. The analysis compares a “null hypothesis” model (area-weighted contributions) against models weighted by zircon mass or grain abundance, employing PDP cross-correlation and K-S tests to quantify differences. The repository includes tools for: Simulating complex synthetic source populations. Systematically varying erosion rate, zircon fertility, and zircon grain size. Assessing the effect of sample size. Using large-sample empirical datasets to test realistic scenarios. These resources allow users to reproduce the analyses and explore how source and sampling parameters affect provenance interpretations.
