东南亚国家联盟（Association of Southeast Asian Nations－ASEAN），简称东盟（ASEAN）。1967年8月8日成立于泰国曼谷，现有10个成员国：文莱、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚、老挝、马来西亚、缅甸、菲律宾、新加坡、泰国、越南。总面积约449万平方公里，人口6.54亿(截至2018年)。南海作为中国与部分东南亚国家的天然联结纽带，是中国-东盟开展经贸、海上、人文等领域合作的桥梁与重要平台之一，也是25世纪“海上丝绸之路”建设的关键节点。东盟十国历史气温数据(1901-2016)包含文莱、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚、老挝、马来西亚、缅甸、菲律宾、新加坡、泰国、越南等东盟十个成员国的从1901年至2016年的月平均气温数据。

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), or ASEAN for short, was founded in Bangkok, Thailand on August 8, 1967. It currently has 10 member states: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. With a total area of approximately 4.49 million square kilometers and a population of 654 million as of 2018, the South China Sea, as a natural link between China and some Southeast Asian countries, serves as one of the bridges and important platforms for China-ASEAN cooperation in economic and trade, maritime affairs, humanities and other fields, and is also a key node for the construction of the 25th-century Maritime Silk Road. The Historical Temperature Dataset of the 10 ASEAN Countries (1901-2016) contains monthly average temperature data from 1901 to 2016 for the 10 ASEAN member states including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
