We aimed to investigate the effect of PTX3 on macrophages functions. After PTX3 stimulation for 18 h in THP-1 macrophages, total RNA were harvested for RNA-seq analysis of ctrl (n = 1) and PTX3 group (n = 1). THP-1 macrophage differentiation was induced by treatment of 320 nM PMA for 6 h. THP-1 macrophages were then treated with or without 50 ng/ml PTX3 for 18 h (Ctrl, n =1 and PTX3, n = 1) and the RNA lysates were harvested for comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data.
