Electric Power Consumption Spatial Distribution Maps of the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration at 1 km Resolution in 2020

This dataset is based on NPP/VIIRS low light remote sensing images from 2017 to 2021 and the K-Means clustering algorithm combining multiple indicators to classify and model cities in the Yangtze River Delta. Social and economic factors are integrated into the classification model to obtain an improved urban EPC classification model; Based on this model, a 1 km resolution EPC spatial distribution map of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration in 2020 was simulated. This data provides a reference for finely characterizing the grid scale of urban agglomerations in EPC, and also provides scientific data support for regional energy allocation.
