Availability of mental health services in Argentina as of 2021

According to a survey carried out in Argentina in 2021, approximately 38 percent of respondents who considered necessary to follow a mental health treatment but do not have access to it can not afford it. Another 24 percent was not able to access in person therapy, while insurance did not cover mental health assistance for close to eight percent of interviewees. As of that year, an estimated 21 percent of people in Argentina presented symptoms related to anxiety or depression.
