Most searched topics on Google about coronavirus (COVID-19) in Italy 2020, by region

After coronavirus (COVID-19) was classified as a global emergency by World Health Organization and since the epidemic started spreading in Italy in February 2020, Italians' concern towards the virus increased significantly. Overall, the most searched topic about COVID-19 on Google was found to be the symptoms, followed by news regarding the virus. Only about two percent of the online searches was concerning the quarantine.
