Map compilation from aerial photographs of 1959,1962,1975 and from result of GPS survey implemented by Japanese Antarctic Research Expeditions 1991-2005.The numbered grid lines are 1km intervals of the UTM-grid (Zone 37). Coordinates of the origin of projection (39E, 0S) correspond to 500kmE and 10,000kmN on this grid.本数据集的地图编制基于1959年、1962年、1975年的航空摄影资料，以及日本南极考察队1991—2005年间实施的全球定位系统（Global Positioning System，GPS）测量成果。图内带有序号的网格线为通用横轴墨卡托（Universal Transverse Mercator，UTM）网格第37带的1千米间隔网格。该投影坐标系的原点坐标（39°E，0°S）与本网格系统中的东向500千米（500kmE）、北向10000千米（10000kmN）位置一一对应。
