植物物候是评估全球变化影响、研究生态系统结构和功能以及发展气候和陆面模式的重要基础。提取中国物候观测网1963-2015年白蜡、垂柳、刺槐、合欢、桑树、榆树、杏树和紫荆共8种木本植物的展叶始期和开花始期数据,通过Unified、UniChill和时空耦合等三种物候模型构建相应参数估计和模型检验的春季物候格网数据研发方法,研发了1963-2015年8种典型暖温带木本植物物种在其分布区展叶始期和开花始期的0.5°x 0.5°格网数据。数据验证结果表明,展叶始期的平均模拟误差约为5-9天,开花始期平均误差约为5-12天。该数据集包括:(1)数据头文件,内含物种物候期和分布范围格网的头文件信息;(2)8种物种物候期,内含每个物种展叶始期和开花始期1963-2015年的逐年文件;(3)物种分布范围,内含每个物种的实际分布范围格网。数据集存储为.txt和.tiff格式,分辨率为0.5°x 0.5°,由3个文件夹1713个数据文件组成,数据量为74.5 MB(压缩为1个文件,8.84 MB)。
Plant phenology serves as a critical foundation for assessing the impacts of global change, investigating ecosystem structure and function, and developing climate and land surface models. We extracted first leaf unfolding and first flowering date data for 8 woody plant species (Fraxinus chinensis, Salix babylonica, Robinia pseudoacacia, Albizia julibrissin, Morus alba, Ulmus pumila, Armeniaca vulgaris, Cercis chinensis) from the China Phenology Observation Network during 1963–2015. Using three phenological models including Unified, UniChill, and spatio-temporal coupling models, we established a methodology for generating gridded spring phenology data with parameter estimation and model validation, and produced 0.5° × 0.5° gridded datasets of first leaf unfolding and first flowering dates for the 8 typical warm-temperate woody plant species across their respective distribution ranges between 1963 and 2015. Data validation results show that the average simulation error of first leaf unfolding dates is approximately 5–9 days, while that of first flowering dates is about 5–12 days. This dataset includes: (1) Data header files containing header information for species phenophase and distribution range grids; (2) Phenophase data for the 8 species, with annual files of first leaf unfolding and first flowering dates for each species from 1963 to 2015; (3) Species distribution range data containing gridded data of the actual distribution ranges for each species. The dataset is stored in .txt and .tiff formats, with a spatial resolution of 0.5° × 0.5°. It consists of 3 folders and 1713 data files, with an uncompressed total size of 74.5 MB (compressed into a single file of 8.84 MB).
