Major Japanese asset managers 2023, by AUM

As of the end of 2023, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc. was the leading asset manager in Japan, with assets under management (AUM) amounting to over 905 trillion U.S. dollars. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group followed, with AUM of around 778 billion dollars.
