Profiling of NMD targets in Naumovozyma castellii, a budding yeast endowed with cytoplasmic RNAi. The sensitivity of cytoplasmic lncRNAs and mRNAs to Upf1 (NMD core factor), translation elongation inhibition (CHX) and Dcr1 (ribonuclease III Dicer) was analyzed using RNA-Seq. Overall design: Strand-specific total RNA-seq in WT, dcr1, upf1 and CHX-treated WT cells.
