Thermal Conductivity Measurements of Eco-Friendly Insulation Materials with Different Particle Sizes
This dataset displays the thermal conductivity values of environmentally friendly insulation materials made with a PVA-stabilized binder, such as chicken feathers, rice husks, straws, and cocopeat. Mesh sieves were used to classify each material into four particle size ranges, and test samples were created. A specially designed experimental setup based on the Lee's Disc Method was used to measure thermal conductivity, and Fourier's Law of Heat Conduction was used to calculate the results. The dataset offers insights into how particle size affects thermal performance and attempts to aid in the development of sustainable insulation materials for building applications
