"Mapping German fiction in translation" dataset

The “Mapping German fiction in translation” dataset consists of 35,972 translated titles of fiction originally published in German by 6,457 authors in 86 languages. It represents the first curated and freely available dataset of bibliographic translation data extracted from the German National Library (DNB) in 2019, 2021, and 2023 for the years 1980-2023. This repository includes tables (CSV) of bibliographic records for translated titles, as well as R scripts and figures for a data quality assessment.
