This dataset systematically summarizes the basic status of land use/land cover (LUCC) in northern China and its adjacent regions, covering the scientific investigation report on LUCC in northern China and its adjacent regions, comparative analysis of global LUCC datasets, land cover classification in the Heilongjiang River Basin based on MODIS phenological characteristics, comparative analysis of LUCC among China, Russia and Mongolia in the survey area, spatio-temporal variation analysis of snow cover (a typical land cover type), extraction and mapping of burned areas following land cover fires, and mapping and analysis of typical agroforestry ecotone landscape types in Northeast China.
