We examined the possible effect of hyperosmotic stress on Arabidopsis transcriptome using mRNA-seq. We found that the transcriptome is reprogrammed in response to hyperosmotic stress, in a DCP5-dependent. Overall design: High-throughput sequencing of mRNA from Col-0 and dcp5-1 Arabidopsis seedlings with 0 min or 60 min of hyperosmotic stress mediated by 150 mM NaCl
