Genetic content of the neo-sex chromosomes in Ctenonotus and Norops (Squamata, Dactyloidae)

Sequencing of isolated autosomes and sex chromosomes in Anolis (Ctenonotus) pogus and Anolis (Ctenonotus) sabanus was performed to understand the evolution of their complex neo-sex chromosome system (X1X2Y/X1X1X2X2) and to compare it to the previously characterized system of Anolis (Norops) sagrei.
