Description: The whole genome sequence (WGS) data were obtained from Shiga toxin producing Escherichia coli O157:H7/H- (O157) strains isolated in four outbreaks (Outbreak-1, 2, 3, and 4). All tested strains were analyzed by next generation sequencer. After exclusion of possible recombination-related SNPs from WGS data, several SNPs were detected in genes in the backbone, O-island, and mobile elements gene categories even though tested strains were isolated in a same outbreak.
