Experimental data of roughness (Ra) and surface residual stress (TRS) of maraging steel workpieces manufactured by laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) with two orientations (XYZ and YZX) and post-processed by milling in the as-built (AB) and aging (480 ºC/3h) heat-treated (HT) conditions. During end-milling operations, the depth of cut was kept at 0.4 mm, while other cutting parameters were varied: feed per tooth (fz) was 0.02 mm/tooth or 0.08 mm/tooth, and cutting speed (vc) was 150 m/min or 250 m/min. These data are related to the project entitled 'Modeling of roughness and surface residual stress behavior of maraging steel manufactured by Powder Bed Fusion and post-processed with milling'.
