The Effects of AR Quality in Parent–Child AR-Based Design on Empathy and the Parent-Child Relationship: A Cross-Sectional Survey Study
收藏资源简介:
This cross-sectional survey study investigates the effects of Augmented Reality (AR) quality in parent-child AR-based design on empathy and the parent-child relationship. Data were collected from 244 parents of school-age children (ages 6-12). Participants engaged in an AR interactive experience within their home environments, followed by completion of an anonymous online questionnaire. The questionnaire covered demographic information, perceived AR quality, empathic responses (emotional, cognitive, behavioral), and parent-child closeness, using adapted scales measured on 5-point Likert or semantic differential scales. The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Wuhan Institute of Technology. This dataset supports research findings related to AR user experience, empathy, and family dynamics.
