The antibiotic resistome of Black Solider Fly gut microbes

Kitchen waste (KW) is proved to be an important reservoir of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). Black solider fly (BSF) larvae are extensively employed in KW disposal, closely linking to their robust gut microbial. However, ARGs dynamics in BSF larvae gut during the KW disposal processes and the mechanism remain unclear. Therefore, the antibiotic resistome in BSF larvae gut within the 12 days KW disposal processes were investigated.
