Lasiodiplodia theobromae, causeing leaf spot on tea (Camellia sinensis), can lead to a huge loss of tea leaves. Presently, RNA-Seq is an available tool in studying host-pathogen interactions, pathogen evolution and plant-host adaptation mechanism. The changing of Lasiodiplodia theobromae after infecting the tea leaves was studied by RNA-seq.
