expectations of youth of the future.

Topics: concepts and expectations regarding the future; strength of
the desire to be grown up; classification of current phase of life on a
child-adult continuum; personal youth biography, in form of
specification of age at experiencing selected events and developments
in one´s own life; preferred residential surroundings or housing
situation; personally a collector and objects collected, identification
with selected youth groups, such as for example punks, trend-followers,
motorcycle fans, fans of the Federal German Armed Forces, opponents of
nuclear power, environmentalists and religious groups; attitude to
selected stickers used as group emblems of young people; personal
opinion leadership and group affiliation; contact with parents; living
with parents; helping in parental household; personal manner of
thinking about life; satisfaction with time available and conducting
daily planning and appointment calendars; attitudes to technology;
particular interests and hobbies; perceived heteronomy or opportunities
for self-determination and problem-solving abilities; sources of income
and money at one´s disposal; personal unemployment and its
registration; problems during time in school; social origins; party
preference; judgement on the survey as well as on youth surveys in

Interviewer rating: length of interview; place of interview; presence
of other persons and their relation to respondent; type of form of
address (familiar or polite) and language (High German or dialect).
