Vibrio parahaemolyticus Genome sequencing. Vibrio parahaemolyticus

The aim of this study is to investigate the potential and characteristics of four bacteriophages (phi_ZB2, phi_1593, phi_BCRC, phi_GS) against Vibrio parahaemolyticus. These bacteriophages were isolated from water samples and have the ability to infect V. parahaemolyticus. We will assess their survival rates, temperature tolerance, adsorption rates on host strains, and release amounts to determine their suitability as a biocontrol method to replace antibiotics. This research will provide valuable insights into developing new environmentally friendly and effective antibacterial strategies, thereby alleviating the health and economic burdens caused by V. parahaemolyticus infections.
