Late Carboniferous Tuff SHRIMP Zircon U-Pb Ages, Hf Isotopic Characteristics, and Geological Significance of the Kebai Fault Zone in Western Junggar, Xinjiang

This dataset contains geochronological and geochemical data for Late Carboniferous volcanic rocks from the Kebai Fault Zone, Western Junggar, Xinjiang, China, generated to constrain the stratigraphic position, petrogenesis, and tectonic setting of the volcanic sequence. The data were collected at the College of Geological and Mining Engineering, Xinjiang University, and Xinjiang Key Laboratory for Geodynamic Processes and Metallogenic Prognosis of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt, Urumqi, 830047, Xinjiang, China. Analytical methods include whole-rock major and trace element analysis (XRF and ICP-MS), SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating, LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating, in-situ zircon rare earth element (REE) analysis, and in-situ zircon Lu-Hf isotope analysis.
