Dataset: Problem-centred interviews results for Matching Data Life Cycle and Research Processes in Engineering Sciences

Version update 1.1.0: Add Interview guideline and correct filenames.Note on version update: Filenames were updated because the interviews were originally designed to be focus groups based on Gail and Vetter's approach.However, the groups were not always reaching the number of participants needed for focus groups, which is set to five to eight people, as the number of participants varied between one and six. A greater number of participants did not prove to be efficient for the process, as the interviews were conducted virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.Therefore, the interviews were instead considered to be problem-centered interviews rather than focus groups. Problem-centered interviews are applicable in this context, as the method should provide "first-hand insights into" the researchers RDM practices, showing "what, how and why [...] actions, appraisals and opinions}" are present among engineering researchers.
