This project focuses on whole genome resequencing of wild-type (WT) and bar-gene transgenic (GM) Arabidopsis plants, as well as F1 generation GM and WT plants treated with graphene oxide (GO). Plants were initially grown on 1/2 Murashige and Skoog (MS) semi-solid medium for 21 days, followed by transfer to a 1/4-strength Hoagland liquid medium. The GO concentration in the treatment group was maintained at the same level as in the semi-solid medium. Water changes were performed every 3 days to ensure optimal growth conditions. The plants were cultivated until maturity, and seeds from the F1 generation were harvested. Whole genome resequencing was performed to investigate genetic variations and assess the impact of GO treatment on F1 generation plant development.
