TopBP1 is more than a DNA damage factor. The knockdown indicates it could have transcriptional regulatory function and we validated this by examining E2F1/p73 pathway. Overall design: HPV-positive keratinocytes were transduced with viruses expressing TopBP1 shRNA and stably selected by puromysin. The knockdown cells and the srcramble cells were compared to explore the potential targets for TopBP1 downstream.
