Data set of 69 cases of senile osteoporosis of kidney-yang deficiency type treated with Suishen decoction

from April 2023 to December 2023, a total of 72 patients with senile osteoporosis of kidney-yang deficiency type were recruited from the department of Traditional Chinese medicine and the osteoporosis clinic of Xuzhou Central Hospital, the patients were divided into control group (36 cases, calcium carbonate d 3+alfacalcitol) and treatment group (36 cases, simmer kidney decoction + calcium carbonate d 3+alfacalcitol) by double-blind method. Three cases dropped out during the process, and the final set was in line with the protocol: 35 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group.Observation indicators include: TCM syndrome score, treatment effectiveness rate, VAS pain score, lumbar spine (L1-L4) bone density, and femoral neck bone density; Bone metabolism indicators include blood calcium (Ca) and blood phosphorus (P), serum osteocalcin (OC), type I procollagen N-terminal propeptide (PINP), type I collagen carboxyterminal peptide beta special sequence (β - CTX), bone alkaline phosphatase (BALP), and 25 (OH) D3 content.
