NCI-H716 is known to be a Glucagon like peptide-1 (GLP-1) secerting cell line, we discovered a novel bacteria protein P9 from the commensal bacteria akkermansia muciniphila. We found out that this bacteria protein could induce GLP-1 robustly when treated. So to understand the underying cell signal mechanism of this phenomenom we done a RNAseq study to the treated NCI-H716 cells.
