Charted dataset for: Transanal total mesorectal excision with delayed coloanal anastomosis for low rectal cancer — a scoping review

Charted dataset supporting a scoping review of transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME) combined with delayed coloanal anastomosis (DCAA) for low rectal cancer. Four databases were searched from inception to 1 August 2026, identifying 16 studies reporting 690 patients: seven comparative cohorts, two non-comparative cohorts, and seven case reports, video vignettes or small series. The workbook contains the charted study characteristics, the charted outcomes, the outcome-reporting matrix underlying the evidence gap map, and the ROBINS-I domain judgements for the comparative studies. A README sheet describes each sheet and the coding used. No effect estimates were pooled. Reporting follows PRISMA-ScR.
