Waterbird count data for Lake 2, Ballavpur Wildlife Sanctuary

This data contains bird count data of different species of waterbirds observed during the year 2018-2019. The data was collected bi-monthly. All waterbirds spanning the lake were attempted to count with the help of a field binocular (10x50) and digital camera. Standard field guides were used to identify waterbirds. Additionally, main feeding habit and the lake use pattern (residence pattern) is provided. The main feeding habit and lake use pattern were understood with field observation and with the help of literature survey.
The data was collected as a part of PhD work to understand nutrient loading by waterbirds in the lake.
